Hi, I’m Latrice Grant, the founder of OWN YOUR CRAFT®.
I have been a creative for as long as I can remember and consider myself an artist first and a photographer second.
My work with a camera began over ten years ago while living in Southeast Asia. Starting out as street photographer in those fast-moving, unpredictable environments, I learnt how to read light quickly and build compelling compositions out of everyday chaos.
Today, that intuition translates into a controlled studio practice. My core creative focus is bold, graphic, and atmospheric portraiture. I work with high-contrast light, shadow, and geometric framing to build images that feel deliberate, focused, and cinematic.
I founded OWN YOUR CRAFT® to serve as a visual partner for creative brands and entrepreneurs, from fashion designers and music artists to product-based brands. Operating as a Creative Director, I oversee projects from the first conceptual sketch to the final execution across photography and videography. A decade of technical experience ensures a seamless production workflow; my focus is on shaping an enduring aesthetic for your brand.
